March 5 – 9, 2017: Pittcon 2017

Pittcon 2017 Technical Talk by CSols, Inc.Pittcon is the world’s largest annual premier conference and exposition on laboratory science. This event provided the opportunity to get a hands-on look at the newest and latest innovations to find solutions to all the challenges that face your laboratory. This year at Pittcon, CSols offered 6 short courses, 4 conferee networking sessions, and 6 technical presentations to help educate those seeking Laboratory Informatics guidance.

February 21-22, 2017: SmartLab Exchange 2017

SmartLAB Exchange provides the opportunity every year to meet and learn from the best Laboratory Informatics leaders. At this exchange, CSols had the opportunity to meet with attendees and have one-on-one meetings to the discuss the needs of their specific projects.

CSols also sat on a Panel Discussion about “Bridging the Gap Between Science & IT” where there was the opportunity to answer questions and share our knowledge about lessons learned and best practices.

February 6-8, 2017: SLAS 2017

CSols exhibited and spoke at SLAS 2017. Attending this event gave CSols the opportunity stay up-to-date about the latest research, peer perspective, and tools needed to stay ahead of the curve.

October 11-12, 2016: Launch 2016

CSols attended Launch 2016 in order to learn and become educated on the Core Informatics new shared vision, key technology integration plans, and product roadmap, as well as to learn about a new technology platform

October 3-4, 2016: BaseSpace Suite Summit

CSols attended this event in order to stay up-to-date with Genologics product updates. At this event, CSols had the chance to attend all-day sessions that include a variety of hands-on, introductory, panel discussions, guest speaker presentations, lab tours and training sessions.

September 27-30, 2016: STARLIMS Forum 2016

As a long standing Partner, CSols attended and sponsored the STARLIMS Forum this past September. At this forum, CSols Consultants had the chance to learn and network in order to gain the best education to ensure that we are helping our clients get the most out of their STARLIMS investment. While at the conference, there were sessions on many different aspects of STARLIMS including – but not limited to – learning to develop HTML5 Applications or Portals, learning to integrate with 3rd party systems by means of Web Services, learning how to build a new AA dashboard, and more.

September 25-28, 2016: LabVantage CTEC 2016

In order to stay abreast with what’s never and what’s to come in LabVantage, CSols attended the 2016 LabVantage Customer Training and Education Conference. At this 5-day conference, CSols took advantage of the opportunity to discover the latest innovations, technologies, techniques, and strategies for powering their labs. CSols also had the opportunity to receive training, learn about best practices, and hear about other customer experiences.

April 26 – 28, 2016: IVT Computer and Software Validation

With an ever-changing technology environment, CSols took the opportunity to attend IVT’s 17th Annual Computer and Software Validation to ensure that we have the knowledge to implement the most current and compliant procedural trends. This year’s theme was “Risk-Based Approaches for FDA Regulated Complex Systems” and included sessions about strong regulatory focus from FDA and all other global authorities on data integrity, mobile medical devices, software apps, and cloud computing. CSols was available at this conference to field any discussions and questions regarding trends and procedures involved with implementing CSV enterprise-wide, and regarding the understanding of up-to-the-minute regulations.

April 24 – 29, 2016: LabWare Customer Education Conference

The LabWare North American Customer Education Conference (CEC) provided CSols with a forum where we were able to review all aspects of LabWare LIMS and ELN systems and identify ways to boost efficiency and effectiveness. CSols partook in comprehensive training courses, technical and management sessions, and industry technical sessions that grew our knowledge and expertise to ensure that we had the best and most knowledge of LabWare systems as possibe. After attending this conference, we are confident CSols’ consultants are current and up-to-date with any new software releases and features in order to provide the best service possible.

April 3 – 8, 2016: 32nd SQA Annual Meeting

The theme for this year’s 32nd Software Quality Assurance annual meeting was Cultivating a Culture of Quality. At this meeting, CSols took the time to manage a booth in order to meet, network, and learn from fellow SQA professionals. At this meeting CSols attended multiple trainings and informational classes based around SQA in order to ensure that we have the best training and knowledge possible to better serve our clients, as well as helped to educate others attending the meeting with our expertise.

March 6 – 10, 2016: Pittcon 2016

This year at Pittcon, CSols offered a variety of short courses, conferee networking sessions, and technical presentations to help spread our knowledge and expertise to those seeking Laboratory Informatics guidance.  Along with these successful sessions, CSols received the honor of being named Pittcon’s “2016 Favorite Speaker.”

February 23 – 24, 2016: SmartLAB Exchange 2016

At the IQPC Exchange conference, SmartLab Exchange in San Diego, CSols took the opportunity to network and share our diverse expertise with Laboratory Informatics professional embarking on new projects. Throughout the conference, there were many connection opportunities made via networking, business meetings with potential partners, as well as strategic information sharing sessions. CSols was invited to sit on a Panel discussion where we shared our insight and knowledge from past projects and lessons learned. Along with these activities, we had valuable one-on-one meetings with potential clients to learn about their Laboratory Informatics needs and discussed with them how our services could help them.

October 18 – 21, 2015: LabVantage CTEC

As CSols, Inc. and LabVantage continue to work closely on projects to deliver excellence to their clients, we found it imperative to stay informed and up-to-date or all software updates and new additions. We attended this conference to learn about LabVantage 8 and what expectations can be derived. It was clear from the time we spent there that LabVantage is focused on the client’s user experience and continue to improve and delight.

September 17 – 18, 2015: IVT Data Integrity Validation

The focus of this conference was on Development, Implementation, and Maintaining Validation Processes for Mobile, Cloud, and Other Critical Data Environments. They offered two in-conference workshops and 15 Sessions with elite speakers in the industry who hold first hand experience. For a first-time conference, we were pleased with the information we learned. Data Integrity Validation is and has been a major point of review for FDA inspectors for the last several years and the importance will only increase. We took home some valuable tips and insights to help us as we develop our services offerings in this space.

May 18 – 21, 2015: Waters INFORM

The Waters’ Informatics Users’ Conference is a premier conference for communicating and collaborating directly with Waters’ software partners and users in the pharmaceutical, environmental, food and beverage, and chemical industries. Attendees can choose from over 35 workshops, tutorials, partner sessions, and plenary presentations on Empower®, NuGenesis®, Paradigm™, UNIFI®, regulatory compliance, system administration and integration, and more. As a Partner, we attend to stay up-to-date on the software platforms and the company as a whole. CSols was also invited to present a Workshop on Integrated Informatics Solutions. April 26 – May 1, 2015: LabWare CEC

LabWare North American Customer Education Conference (CEC) provides its attendees with the opportunity to update their knowledge through their innovative and comprehensive programs of training courses, technical and management sessions, and industry technical sessions. The theme of this year’s symposium was “The Efficiency of Quality” and the attendees were seeking information about products and services necessary to ensure the on-going quality of their laboratories. A team of CSols employees attended this conference in Boston, MA to hear about the latest trends and lessons learned surrounding Electronic Laboratory Notebooks.

May 6 – 8, 2013: ASCLD 2013

CSols exhibited at the 40th Annual ASCLD Symposium in Durham, NC where Forensics Lab Directors gather to discuss backlogs, accreditation, traceability, uncertainty, technology, efficiency and social media. Information presented educated attendees to run their crime laboratories as they explore the business behind the science. We look forward to attending next year.

April 21 – 22, 2013: LabWare CEC 2013

CSols attended the LabWare 2013 North American Customer Education Conference in Orlando, FL for the LabWare Certification training. During the week, they met with past clients, were introduced to potential new clients, and caught up with LW consultants they worked with on previous projects. Overall, the LabWare CEC was an exceptional educational, social, and above all, enjoyable event.

April 17 – 19, 2013: IVT Computer & Software Validation

This was CSols’ first time exhibiting in IVT’s Computer & Software Validation show in Philadelphia, PA and they gained a lot of value from it.  During the sessions, they spoke how emerging technology is effecting the validation landscape, mobile devices and the cloud, and how we should prepare for it all. All important information CSols needs to know to keep up with the trends and to meet our client’s requirements.

April 14 – 17, 2013: PDA Annual Meeting 2013

CSols, Inc. attended the Parenteral Drug Association Annual Meeting to meet with current clients and hear about the current challenges the industry is facing and what to next few years will look like.

March 17 – 21, 2013: PITTCON 2013

The members of the CSols, Inc. team enjoyed a short trip from our offices to participate in PITTCON 2013, held at the newly renovated Philadelphia Convention Center. This year, CSols presented three short courses, a technical presentation, and facilitated several conferee networking sessions.

  • Kyle McDuffie used real-life scenarios combined with student interaction to provide thought leadership on “How to select, plan, and implement the right software for your laboratory”.
  • Kurt Robak presented a successful debut short course on “Delivering a Successful Informatics Project” to a class of professionals looking to understand the keys to being “On-time, On Budget, while meeting their customers’ requirements.”
  • Bill Devorick’s course on “Improving Teamwork & Task-Focus in the Analytical Laboratory” drew a large crowd of laboratory supervisors and managers looking to improve productivity and lab morale.
  • The technical presentation on ELN vs. LIMS and multiple conferee networking sessions drew in a crowd of IT/Informatics professionals, scientists and engineers that enjoyed the opportunity to interact with CSols team of experts and shared their real world experiences.

September 10 – 14, 2012: Thermo Scientific Informatics World (TIW 2012)

CSols attended Thermo Scientific’s annual User Group conference in Palm Beach Gardens, FL where they shared the latest product developments in laboratory informatics. As a premier Partner, CSols sponsored several activities during the week including the Partner Expo. CSols teamed up with Global chemical industry leader Arkema in the Partner Presentation to share details of a successful SampleManager upgrade across many versions and multiple sites. Our SampleManager and Integration Manager experts also contributed as Thought Leaders for the Birds of a Feather sessions during the conference lunch breaks. During the Partner Expo, we showcased our SampleManager services and discussed a variety of Case Studies with attendees from the Life Sciences, Food, Chemical, Oil & Gas, and Mining Industries. The winner of our sponsored grand prize giveaway, Susan Pitt of the Coca-Cola Company, was presented with a Kindle Fire Tablet.

August 19, 2012: American Chemical Society National Conference

Megan Norton of CSols, Inc. was invited by the American Chemical Society’s Division of Small Chemical Businesses (SCHB) to join a team of speakers to present at the session “How Small Businesses can Grow and Increase Sales Utilizing Social Media”. Megan’s topic, “Be Visible, Be Insightful, Be Successful – Join the Social Media revolution for Small Businesses”, shared tips and tricks on how to utilize Social Media as a valuable tool for reaching targeted consumers and increasing visibility of products and services. This was a great experience and an honor to join an elite group of speakers at a prestigious conference. We look forward to next year.

April 29 – May 4, 2012: LabWare CEC

CSols attended the LabWare 2012 North American Customer Education Conference in New Orleans, LA and were pleased to have sponsored the opening day luncheon. CSols employees took advantage of this year’s record turnout to catch up with old clients and introduce themselves to potential new clients. Understanding their needs, their successes, and the challenges that they face enables CSols to fine tune our service offerings to better serve our clients in the future.

CSols LabWare Certified Consultants along with other consultants and clients alike, participated in the LabWare LIMS training, attended customer presentations, listened to LabWare corporate presentations, and obtained a common understanding of the LabWare current and future states.

Having all LabWare employees and LabWare consultants in one place at the same time provided the opportunity to renew old, and make new, face-to-face acquaintances. In this increasingly virtual world, this connection time is of paramount importance in sustaining working relationships.

Overall, the LabWare CEC was an exceptional educational, social, and above all, enjoyable event.

March 11-16, 2012: PITTCON

The members of the CSols, Inc. team returned to Orlando, FL for PITTCON 2012, held at the Orange County Convention Center. This year, CSols presented two short courses, an oral presentation, and featured two abstracts during the poster session. Kyle McDuffie used real-life scenarios combined with student interaction to explain “How to select, plan, and implement the right software for your laboratory”. Geoff Turnbull presented a successful debut short course on “LIMS/ELN: Reaching the promise land – Lean Lab Operations and the Integrated Quality System” to a class of Lean Lab Enthusiasts. The oral presentation and two poster sessions drew in a crowd of informatics professionals, scientists and engineers. We enjoyed our time at PITTCON and have already begun our planning for 2013.

March  6-9, 2012: STARLIMS Forum

CSols sponsored and attended the STARLIMS Forum User Group Meeting held in Ft. Lauderdale FL. The forum provided an opportunity for current and future STARLIMS clients to learn about  STARLIMS’ unified informatics platform, available enhancements, and company updates. The theme this year was Education, Collaboration, and Innovation. Keeping that in mind, CSols presented two educational sessions for the seminar portion of the Forum; 1) Realize the business benefits of your STARLIMS Implementation and 2) Delivering a successful STARLIMS Implementation. We thoroughly enjoyed our interaction with the attendees and we look forward to attending STARLIMS Forum in the future.

October 24-26, 2011: Validation Week

CSols, Inc proudly exhibited at IVT’s annual Validation Week conference in Philadelphia, PA. The 3 day conference encompassed Seminars, Workshops and Round Table discussions focused on the hot issues surrounding validation in the Pharmaceutical industry. The CSols team educated the attendees on the importance Computer System Validation and the expertise CSols provides to help laboratories achieve and maintain cGMP and cGLP compliance.

September 19-21, 2011: ASCLD 2011

CSols, Inc. attended this year’s annual ASCLD meeting held in Denver, CO. and it was another great success for all involved. We had the opportunity to see many familiar faces as well as some new ones too.  There were several discussions held at our booth about the challenges that forensic laboratories face when trying to implement an informatics solution such as LIMS. We were able to share with many ASCLD members how we have helped our customers ensure the success of these types of projects from requirements definition all the way through implementation and usage in the lab. In addition, we were able to discuss how we can help laboratories that are struggling with the informatics solution they already have in place. We look forward to the continued opportunity to team with the forensics community in achieving informatics success.

June 12-17, 2011: LabWare CEC 2011

ŸCSols, Inc. attended the 2011 LabWare Customer Education Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. As a consultancy with LabWare Certified technicians, we like to stay abreast of all updates and News surrounding the LabWare LIMS and ELN products. The conference also gave CSols, Inc. an opportunity to interact with mutual customers in an educational setting. LabWare updated the attendees on their current state of business, as well as their prediction for growth moving forward. We enjoyed the conference and look forward to attending next year.

May 12 – 13, 2011: IMACS World

CSols Inc was a proud sponsor of IMACS 2011 which was held in Boston, MA this year. We had the opportunity to listen to other leaders and visionaries who are “leading the way” in automated compliance and productivity technologies. Topics that were discussed centered around their lab initiatives, QC/QA e-notebooks, lean manufacturing, SOP/method-centric lab execution systems, and phased implementation strategies. In addition, CSols had the opportunity to discuss our ELN services such as StepONE with many of the shows attendees. We are excited by the overwhelming response to these discussions and look forward to assisting these companies with their Informatics projects.

March 28 – 30, 2011: IQPC Laboratory Informatics

CSols, Inc. attended their first east coast Laboratory Informatics show hosted by IQPC. The Show was held in Philadelphia, PA at the Hyatt at the Bellevue. Their three day conference showcased speakers from all industries sharing their case studies surrounding implementation and preparation for LIMS and ELN.

March 13 – 18, 2011: Pittcon

The members of CSols, Inc. enjoyed a successful trip to PITTCON 2011 in Atlanta, GA. The week began with Kyle McDuffie’s short course on “LIMS & ELN: How to select, plan, and implement the right solutions for your Laboratory” with an attendance exceeding previous years. During the exposition, the CSols booth provided the perfect setting for meeting new clients, following up with current clients and visiting with our partners. We ended the week with a poster by William Devorick “Risk Based Data Migration” and an oral presentation by Robert Jackson “Data Visualization and Dashboards” which both generated a lot of traffic and inquiries.

December 6 – 9, 2010: ISPE

CSols, Inc. sponsored ISPE Classroom Training event held in Philadelphia, PA (International  Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers). The Classroom Training courses focused on best practices and regulatory challenges in the areas of pharmaceutical water generation and operation, HVAC, Part 11, GAMP® 5, sterile drug manufacturing facilities and oral solid dosage forms. These were conducted through lectures, group activities, and problem case solving. A few of the hot-topics were “what’s new” in validation guidance since GAMP 5 has been introduced and Annex 11 to 21CFR Part 11.

September 14 – 16, 2010: ASCLD

CSols, Inc. attended this year’s annual ASCLD meeting held in Baltimore, MD. and it was a great success for all involved.  In addition to a first rate venue many of the ASCLD members in attendance visited our booth to discuss their LIMS projects.  Our staff had the opportunity to discuss our strategic planning services for selecting LIMS as well as how we can help labs optimize their LIMS that they already have in place.  We look forward to the opportunity to team with the Crime Laboratories to help them ensure project success!

May 12 – 13, 2010: IMACS

IMACS 2010 was held in PrincetonNJ this year and senior sales and delivery personnel from CSols were in attendance.  Leaders across a wide spectrum of industries were in attendance to continue the important discussion of how best to capture research and production data.  As the lines continue to blur between LIMS and ELN, the IMACS conference is becoming an increasingly important venue to share firsthand experiences in the ongoing quest for the ideal information system.

May 2 – 7, 2010: LabWare CEC 2010

The CSols team ventured to the 2010 LabWare University Customer Educational Conference in Huntington Beach, CA for continuing education and training on the LabWare products and to network with industry colleagues. Presentations were held to displayed more of their LabWare ELN Module that was first rolled out at Pittcon 2010.

May 3 – 6, 2010: Thermo Informatics World 2010

The CSols Sales and Technical teams were both present at this year’s TIW conference in Philadelphia.  This annual event provides a valuable opportunity to preview new offerings and interact with the senior development staff of one of our valuable informatics partners.  In addition to learning details about all of the updates and new features of the Thermo offerings, CSols presented information on a number of our recent projects in the Energy, Oil and Gas, Mining and Pharma industries.

Feb 28 – March 5, 2010: PITTCON 2010

The members of CSols, Inc. enjoyed a successful trip to PITTCON 2010 in Orlando, FL. The team kicked off the week with Kyle McDuffie’s short course on “LIMS and Laboratory System Integration.” This highly attended and interactive course was jam-packed with valuable information and received rave reviews from the students. This was followed up with the oral presentation on “How to have a successful LIMS Implementation-Avoid Detours”  which was given to a “standing room only” crowd of attentive PITTCON attendees. We closed out the week with posters by Bob Jackson, “The Future of LIMS” and Mark Parrish,  “Validation Decisions”, which both generated a lot of traffic and inquiries during the poster sessions.
