2/28/2013 - CSols All-Star Employee is Running for a Cause

A Senior LIMS Consultant at CSols, Todd Lipman, is participating in the Melanoma International Foundation 5K in Wayne, PA on April 21st. Todd participates in the the 5K each year in honor of his sister, who lost her fight in 2008. Staying true to the core values of CSols, a donation has been made on Todd's behalf and all the staff wishes him the best in the race. 12/26/2012 - Chemical Manufacturer Selects CSols for Additional SampleManager Work

Following a successful upgrade of a 15 user SampleManager LIMS for a Specialty Chemical manufacturer based in the Midwest in 2012, CSols has been selected for a new project to implement SampleManager 10.1 at an additional site in 2013. The new site will share the same servers as the original implementation, but will require configuration for their specific operations.


12/17/2012 - Now Hiring a Thermo Fisher Scientific Nautilus Engineer

Red Cross Relief Hurricane Sandy11/7/2012 - CSols Contributes to the Red Cross Relief for Hurricane Sandy Victims

CSols has reached out to support the victims of Hurricane Sandy by contributing a monetary donation to the Red Cross Relief. We understand the increasing need for food, clothing, housing and everyday living essentials for the people along the East coast and hope the donation will help provide them with supplies they need.


11/1/2012 - Pittcon 2013 Conferee Networking Sessions have been announced and CSols, Inc. is facilitating 3!

Each year at the PITTCON conference, Conferee Networking Sessions are held for all registered attendees to attend and network in an informal setting. In the two-hour sessions, attendees with similar interests meet to discuss new techniques, resolve problems, or brainstorm new ideas. The three abstracts submitted by CSols were accepted and we are very excited to moderate each of them. The Topics are:

7/23/2012 - CSols has been selected by a Military Medical Research Organization to assist with their LIMS Enhancements
CSols has been selected by a global organization dedicated to advancing military medical research to enhance their current LabWare LIMS. The tasks include an architectural review, additional configuration, instrument interfacing, static data loading, reporting as well as validation and deployment activities. These enhancements will increase laboratory efficiency, stream line work flows, ensure accurate transfer of information, and protect the integrity of high level sensitive patient data.

4/19/2012 - Global Diagnostics Manufacturer R&D group engages CSols for Strategic Application Architecture Planning including LIMS and ELN
A global leader in Diagnostics capabilities has engaged CSols to collaborate on a strategic architectural roadmap. The scope of the initiative includes processes, applications, ERP integration and IT components supporting R&D. The strategic architectural detail includes a sustainable and supportable R&D environment to expand capabilities, reduce costs and improve time to market for manufacturing. A detailed LIMS vs. ELN R&D fit analysis and recommendation was an integral component of the strategy.

02/08/2011 – Oil Analysis Industry contracts CSols for their LIMS Implementation
A leader in the oil analysis industry has selected CSols to assist them with several facets of their LIMS implementation.  The scope of the project includes final configuration work, instrument integration, and reporting.  In addition, CSols has been assigned the mission critical task of migrating the customer’s legacy data to the new LIMS.  These components are not only essential to the success of the project but are also crucial to the customer’s business because the LIMS will serve as the “backbone” of the customer’s online service.  This allows their external customers view and print sample reports, download data, and process specific management reports in real time via their website.


01/25/2011 – CSols assists with ELN Strategic Planning Project
A world leader in generic pharmaceuticals has selected CSols to assist them with their ELN Strategic Planning project. This project is vital to the customer’s lean manufacturing and regulatory compliance objectives.  For this project CSols experts will execute workflow analysis over two sites taking into consideration existing LIMS and CDS solutions.  Upon completion of the analysis CSols will develop the customer’s User Requirements Specification (URS), Request for Proposal (RFP), and vendor demo scripts.  This engagement will ensure the highest level of long-term success throughout the entire life-cycle of this ELN initiative.

10/4/2010 - CSols is pleased to announce the addition of yet another LIMS expert to our team of informatics consultants.   Our latest addition is to our recently established Canadian division.  His deep STARLiMS knowledge and experience coupled with fluency in both English and French provide expanded opportunities to serve the overseas operations of our clientele.  Initial assignments include projects for a top 10 Global Pharma concern in their operations in both the US and Europe. 


A leading producer of titania-based ceramic honeycomb catalyst for NOx emission control used in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems for air pollution control has selected CSols Inc. to assist them with their LIMS Strategic Planning project at its two US based testing laboratories.  The customer has determined that a well documented Requirements Definition and LIMS Vendor selection will help them mitigate the risk associated with a typical commercial LIMS implementation.  CSols will utilize its industry proven methodology for Workflow Analysis & LIMS Selection to assist the customer to transform and unify the underlying processes, data management and reporting flows within their organization.


Yet another example of the diversity of the CSols project portfolio:  Our LIMS professionals have been selected to provide services for the implementation of a new LIMS for a leader in the polymer materials industry.


8/2/2010 - CSols’ continued growth as the leading Scientific Informatics Services Provider for North America has precipitated the addition of a full-time technical recruiter to our team.

We are very fortunate to have Aaron Griffin joining us in this capacity.  Aaron brings extensive experience in staffing professional scientific and technical positions for a variety of individual firms as well as serving as an account manager for a staffing agency specializing in placing technical employees. 

The addition of an in-house recruiter will ensure that we can continue to meet the growing needs of our clients by providing the unparalleled engineers, regulatory experts and information technologists that CSols is known for.


CSols continues to expand engagements throughout the Americas as a direct result of increasing demand for seasoned informatics guidance. In addition to our recently announced Canadian division, we also have a number of projects in Central and South America.  Among these projects:

• Two of CSols Senior LIMS implementation team members are currently engaged in a SampleManager LIMS upgrade in Surinam for a global mining firm. 

• A CSols LabManager expert is assisting in the upgrade of an existing LabManager system for a major Mexican pharmaceutical company.


2/28/2010 - CSols, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Policastro, formerly of LabVantage/Applied Biosystems. In his new business development role, Policastro will lead the effort to further expand CSols' market presence as well as develop new markets and new partnerships with key lab informatics companies.  He brings over 12 years of pharmaceutical and process industry LIMS industry experience, including sales, marketing, product development, implementation, and management.

Previously, he held the position of territory manager for Thermo's Informatics division, and prior to that was a regional sales manager for Beckman Coulter's Laboratory Automation Operations - which was acquired by InnaPhase in July 2003. Policastro earned his bachelor's degree in business management from St. John’s University, NY.

A major government agency contracted CSols Canada, Inc. to perform a LIMS selection including the development of user requirements specifications. CSols was awarded this contract based upon the lab informatics domain expertise and the commitment to meet a very tight timeline. An unprecedented track record for delivering projects of a similar nature was a key element in the decision process.


As part of our growth strategy and recognizing our strong position in Canada, we have formed a wholly owned subsidiary, CSols Canada, Inc., to drive future business in Canada. We are excited about this initiative and look forward to the opportunity to continue Delivering Excellence to the Canadian Informatics Market.


CSols celebrated their highest quarterly revenue earnings (since 2001) this past quarter. The second quarter results are a combined contribution of new contracts, growing partnerships and specialized CSols consultants. CSols remains on track for the last two fiscal quarters' targets.

The re-designed and updated CSols Inc. website was rolled out August 2009.  This site provides an overview of our services and products as well as Links to a variety of resources to meet your specific needs including useful informatics reference material and complementary live and recorded presentations. Our combination of Knowledge, Experience, and Service continues to grow our business.


In order to support our clients’ needs and increasing demand for our services, we continue to add several Senior LIMS Implementation and Validation engineers to our staff.  These individuals bring a wealth of experience in the informatics industry to our clients.  We are always seeking individuals who can add value to our service and support portfolio.


We are pleased to announce the addition of a new Marketing Assistant whose experience in coordinating the marketing and scheduling activities for a variety of technology firms should prove to be a great asset as CSols continues to grow.
