Job Roles
As the Technical Lead for the STARLIMS practice, you will be responsible to:
- Deliver, guide, and demonstrate technical product expertise and guidance to practice team members via internal or client or partner projects
- Proactively manage the internal development environment
- Ensure team currency of products via training sessions
- Liaise with the product vendor
As a Senior Consultant, you will responsible for:
- Delivering excellence for client and partner projects
Job Description
The incumbent demonstrates technical leadership and skill solving for your client’s, partner’s, or team’s needs. You have hands-on experience implementing solutions in manufacturing or an R&D environment. Your detailed systems and process knowledge apply to laboratory informatics functions and system integration, e.g., ERP, MES, instruments, and supporting laboratory lifecycle systems. As a Senior Consultant, you are a detailed-oriented team player with excellent intrapersonal skills. You can demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure while meeting deadlines. You are a motivated self-starter and possess the following skills, experience, and applied knowledge.
Desired Qualifications
You have at least five years of industry expertise as a technical LIMS consultant as a hands-on developer experienced in STARLIMS v10 or higher, relational databases, IT infrastructure, and system interfacing. Additionally, you have at least two years of experience with regulated industries related to processes managed by laboratory informatics systems and technologies. You demonstrate refined skills to adapt to changing client needs and priorities. Your business analysis skills incorporate an ability to map and translate lab processes to LIMS functions, including configuration and programming.
You can demonstrate verbal and written communication fluency in English.

- Server-side Scripting Languages
- Java Script Pages
- Application to Application Interfacing and integration, e.g., APIs
Education and Training:
- Information Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Genetics or similar science degree or experience
- Applied knowledge of Computer System Validation
- Applied knowledge of technical leadership
