Job Description

We are currently looking to expand our LabWare LIMS team beyond configuration/development roles by adding a Business Analyst.  This detail-oriented role requires the candidate to be conversant with the use of laboratory software in a FDA regulated environment, laboratory operations, and participate in the planning, design, development, testing of laboratory information systems solutions.  The candidate will apply IT and laboratory knowledge on projects to formulate technical solutions to improve laboratory quality, compliance and efficiency.  The candidate will work directly with end users and system owners as well as external consultants and vendors to document, analyze and provide technical solutions to achieve business goals and a high level of client satisfaction through system deployment.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years experience in business analysis capturing user requirements and translating to functional and/or design documentation for LabWare’s LIMS solution.
  • Experience on 2-3 new LIMS Implementation projects
  • Demonstrated ability to assertively manage projects required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience with LabWare’s solution in a laboratory environment
  • Scientific and Business Analysis: demonstrated experience in managing requirements and driving the translating into an implemented solution via:
    • Balanced and prioritized quality, science and technology considerations
    • Application of LIMS solution aligned with business drivers
    • Systems integration
  • A science-based (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, etc.) degree is required
  • Ability to work from home
