Overview

We are currently looking to add several LIMS Technical Business Analyst Consultants to our staff.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ or more experience in technical business analysis and development capturing user requirements and translating to functional and/or design documentation and LIMS solutions.

  • Scientific and Business Analysis: demonstrated experience in defining and managing technical requirements for LIMS solutions:
    • An analytical approach balancing the needs of stakeholders, e.g. quality, business, science, and technology
    • Analysis includes standards compliance and reporting, e.g.;
      • cGxP
      • 21 CFR 11
      • CAP, CLIA, HIPAA
      • ISO 17025, 13485
      • ASTM
      • GAMP, PIC/S
    • A LIMS solution analysis ensuring end-user community needs and system adoption
    • Ability to translate user requirements to LIMS functionalities culminating in a functional or design specification
    • Systems integration analysis, design, and development, e.g.
      • ERP, MES
      • Instrumentation systems, e.g. chromatography data systems
      • Quality Management systems, e.g. CAPA, LMS, DMS
    • Assertive management and execution the LIMS requirement analysis and development process
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A science-based (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, etc.) degree
  • Eligible for consultant bonus program

Highly Desirable Qualifications

  • BA and hands-on Technical Development experience with STARLIMS version 10 or greater
  • Software development skills including programming/reporting languages such as Java, Java Scripts, C#, .NET, SQL, SQL Server, Crystal Reports
  • STARLIMS specific developer skills: Server Scripts, Data Sources, Forms, STARLIMS Database, and Dictionary
