Job Description

A CSols’ Program Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple lab systems projects for our biopharma clients. These projects include the implementation and enhancement of a variety of lab informatics systems such as LIMS, ELN, LES, SDMS and CDS.  The program manager is normally supported by project managers but in some cases will be required to manage projects as well.  In all cases the program manager works to maintain the alignment of the program to the overall business strategy and to ensure the program is delivering the desired business benefits.  The program manager communicates effectively using different styles and cadences to project teams, business stakeholders, and senior and executive level management.  As challenges arise the program manager uses past project experience to develop and implement mitigation plans.

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Program Management
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing lab informatics projects in FDA regulated environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, from technicians through to executive level management
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly respond to project challenges through situational analysis and the development and execution of a mitigation plan
  • A science or technology degree
  • Full life-cycle lab informatics project management experience from inception to implementation and go-live
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage to, a project budget.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of many of the following standards:
    • cGxP, 21 CFR 11, CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, ISO 17025, 13485, ASTM, GAMP, PIC/S
  • Business, scientific and/or technical understanding of at least one of following LIMS systems:
    • LabWare, LabVantage, SampleManager, STARLIMS, Clarity
  • Computer systems validation experience is highly desirable
  • Project Management certification, e.g. PMI’s PMP is a plus
  • Business, scientific and/or technical understanding of IDBS and/or BIOVIA product suites is a plus
