Job Description
We are currently looking to add Junior level SampleManager LIMS Business Analyst/Developers to our staff. In this role, you will report to the SampleManager Delivery Directory or Manager. This role will include gathering requirements from laboratory and business teams at client sites, then translating the requirements into SampleManager LIMS configuration using a mixture of configuration and customization tools (e.g. C#/Forms/.Net, Workflows, VGL). The scope of project work also includes integration to other client information systems and laboratory equipment, user training, and problem-solving and support.
Responsibilities and Duties will include:
- Gathering User Requirements
- Configuring SampleManager utilizing Explorer folders, forms, Report and Label Templates and Workflows
- Configuring SampleManager utilizing C# and forms, and VGL
- Creating Report Template Reports
- Integrating information systems and lab instruments using SampleManager LES and/or Integration Manager
- Train users as needed
Desired Qualifications
In this detail-oriented role, you must be conversant with laboratory terminology and processes, sample lifecycle, and instrumentation.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player with excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely fashion. Also, they must have the ability to work remotely and independently with little to no supervision. They must be a motivated self-starter and possess the following abilities, experience, and knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science related discipline preferred
- 1+ years of experience with SampleManager as a LIMS Administrator or with SampleManager LIMS configuration
- Experience within a regulated environment a plus
- Programming skills with C#/.Net/Forms a big plus, plus also VGL and SQL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
