The desired laboratory informatics consultant will have experience in Abbott Informatics’ STARLIMS LIMS and .NET programming. The incumbent should demonstrate an integration of technical skills and experience with the STARLIMS solution suite to meet clients’ needs in an FDA regulated environment. You are fluent and demonstrate verbal and written communication in English. Your detailed laboratory informatics system and process knowledge, as it applies to STARLIMS LIMS and other laboratory informatics functions and system integration, are ERP, ELN, CDS, and SDMS. As a LIMS Consultant, you must be a detailed-oriented team player with excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. This position requires independent remote work with limited oversight. You are a motivated self-starter and possess the technical abilities, experience, and applied knowledge stated below.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of industry expertise as a technical consultant with hands-on developer experienced in STARLIMS, STARLIMS ELN, relational databases, infrastructure, and interfacing.
Additionally, you have at least one year of experience with FDA regulated industries as it relates to processes managed by laboratory informatics systems and technologies. You demonstrate your refined skills in adapting to changing client needs and priorities. Your business analysis incorporates the ability to map and translate lab processes to STARLIMS functions including configuration and programming.
