A large chemical company's acquisition of a business unit with disparate systems and a tight six-month deadline to integrate eight global sites onto a new SampleManager LIMS version, including MES and SAP integration, was hampered by connectivity issues, rented server space, and a French-speaking site new to LIMS with unclear requirements. The complex project also lacked strong leadership, causing it to fall behind schedule.
Solution:
