CSols Inc. was invited to present two short courses at Pittcon 2022 but the event has been postponed until 2023 due to Covid COVID-19. We look forward to joining them in person in 2023.
This year we will be hosting the following:
Is your lab seeking new ways to generate, manage, analyze, and deliver increasing amounts of data and results? Are you looking to a LIMS, ELN, or LES as a solution? If so, it’s time to plan for your informatics project. There are many informatics tools available but selecting the right lab automation tool leads to the best return on your investment. During the selection process, it is important to narrow down the type of system your organization can achieve the most benefit from. Once your system is selected, the detailed project organization and implementation steps come next. The implementation has critical factors that can improve your chances for long-term adoption and success.
Manufacturers use lean techniques to improve quality, productivity, and cycle time. QC labs can apply the same methods to realize similar benefits, especially if lab informatics tools like LIMS or ELN are used. Leaning a lab in concert with such systems improves performance, minimizes paper, facilitates compliance, and reduces operating costs with less expense than purchasing new tools.
This course explains proven lean lab principles and covers how to identify, prioritize, and realize lean opportunities. The course covers practices and methodologies for planning as well as managing and executing a lean project using lab informatics tools.
