A multinational chemical company's specialty adhesives unit lacked an efficient and centralized system for R&D sample analysis requests, leading to time-consuming manual processes, difficult workflow tracking, and scattered reports across multiple locations. Furthermore, the teams at the four global R&D sites were new to SampleManager LIMS and had limited time for the implementation.
Solution:
CSols implemented SampleManager LIMS v21 across the four sites, creating user-friendly dashboards with C# development to streamline request submission and tracking, automate report delivery, and establish a single, searchable repository for analytical reports, while carefully managing the fixed-price project to accommodate the client's learning curve and limited availability.

Project Leadership for a Global SampleManager LIMS™ and SAP Implementation

Challenge:
A large chemical company's acquisition of a business unit with disparate systems and a tight six-month deadline to integrate eight global sites onto a new SampleManager LIMS version, including MES and SAP integration, was hampered by connectivity issues, rented server space, and a French-speaking site new to LIMS with unclear requirements. The complex project also lacked strong leadership, causing it to fall behind schedule.
Solution:
CSols provided an experienced project leader who implemented an iterative prototyping approach to accelerate development, managed organizational change and communication across all stakeholders, ensured the French-speaking site received translated documentation, facilitated the migration to the client's own servers, and successfully brought the failing implementation back on schedule, ultimately harmonizing all sites on the new LIMS with key system integrations.

Challenge:
A specialty chemical manufacturer faced a critical LIMS compliance gap identified during an audit and lacked the internal resources and expertise, within a limited budget, to properly validate their customized SampleManager LIMS environment according to FDA regulations. Existing vendor documentation was insufficient, necessitating significant tailoring and the creation of additional test scripts.
Solution:
CSols provided on-site expertise to guide the client through the entire validation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, training, documentation tailoring, protocol execution, and the development of a comprehensive validation package, ultimately reducing regulatory risk and improving the client's understanding of CSV.
